This is it! A small, lightweight, and extremely easy to use surface roughness measurement instrument that lets you view surface roughness waveforms right on the color LCD screen. The Surftest SJ-210 is a user-friendly surface roughness measurement instrument designed as a handheld tool that can be carried with you and used on-site.

The 2.4-inch color graphic LCD provides excellent readability and an intuitive display that is easy to negotiate. The LCD also includes a backlight for improved visibility in dark environments.
The Surftest SJ-210 can be operated easily using the buttons on the front of the unit and under the sliding cover.
Up to 10 measurement conditions and one measured profile can be stored in the internal memory.
An optional memory card can be used as an extended memory to store large quantities of measured profiles and conditions.
Access to each feature can be password-protected, which prevents unintended operations and allows you to protect your settings.
The display interface supports 16 languages, which can be freely switched.
An alarm warns you when the cumulative measurement distance exceeds a preset limit.
The Surftest SJ-210 complies with the following standards: JIS (JIS-B0601-2001, JIS-B0601-1994, JIS B0601-1982), VDA, ISO- 1997, and ANSI.
In addition to calculation results, the Surftest SJ-210 can display sectional calculation results and assessed profiles, load curves, and amplitude distribution curves.

ICM-20789: 7-Axis Motion Tracking Device

InvenSense introduces the ICM-20789, which is a 7-axis Motion Tracking device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, a pressure sensor, and a Digital Motion Processor™ (DMP) in a 4 mm x 4 mm x 1.365 mm (24-pin LGA) package.

This unique device offers performance of discrete parts in a single efficient package for tracking rotational and linear motion as well as relative elevation change for a wide range of applications. The pressure sensor is based on capacitive technology with excellent temperature stability as opposed to the more common resistive sensing.

The capacitive pressure sensor has a full range from 300 hPa -1100 hPa which covers from an altitude of around 30,000 feet to Mean Sea level. The pressure sensor has a ±1 hPa absolute accuracy over 300 hPa -1100 hPa and an embedded temperature sensor with I2C bus for communication. It features very low noise at 3.2 Pa with excellent low power consumption at 1.3 uA for always on applications such as mobile navigation and wearable activity tracking.

GCP-1 is a desktop kiosk designed for the Quality Control / Gaging Operator to facilitate simple collection of measured data from digital gages on the shop floor via wired or wireless interfaces. Gage Collector Pro will deliver powerful analysis from user defined Specifications (“Spec Plans”). These measured results automatically migrate to a real-time display where pre-determined nominal, control, and spec limits are set by the user.

The hardware boasts a 21.5” touch screen panel PC, on a super-robust tilting stand, giving the operator an excellent visual of a split screen containing the spec plan collection parameters, and the resulting real-time data plots. Our well established FLORENCE-3R family is now also available in rugged IP-versions which aren’t afraid of moist and dusty environments. 3R-IP modules come with an integrated silicone gasket providing ingress protection against water and dust.

For high quality retail lighting we are releasing CARMEN – a completely new hybrid reflector and lens design featuring a smooth cutoff, low glare and minimized spill light. We also have a new addition to our innovative ZORYA family – ZORYA-MINI is made from PC and mimics a traditional light bulb beam pattern.

For street lighting applications we have a few new STRADA variations for you. Forward wide light distribution with Type III light distribution is now available in LEDiL’s 2X2 and 2X6 form factors and for the STRADA-SQ family we are releasing a new T2 variant with minimized backlight. Introducing CMX901QT8 a New High-Gain 3-Stage Power Amplifier

Component Distributors Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of a new high-gain power amplifier that can operate between 130 MHz and 950 MHz. The CMX901QT8 is a 3-stage device that offers 40 dB of gain with an output power of 2.5 Watts at the lower frequencies and 1.5 Watts at the highest frequencies. It can be operated using a supply voltage range of 2 to 6 Volts, and is housed in a small 5×5 mm plastic QFN package.

notWired.co NW-AUD-ICS52000 Breakout Board for the
InvenSense ICS-52000 MEMS Micrphone with TDM Output

The ICS-52000 is the latest new product release for the InvenSense line of low-noise microphones with a TDM output, bottom-side audio port, and digital output. The complete ICS-52000 solution consists of a MEMS sensor, signal conditioning, an analog-to-digital converter, decimation and anti-aliasing filters, power management, and an industry standard 24-bit TDM interface.

The TDM interface allows an array of up to 16 of the ICS-52000 microphones to connect directly to digital processors, such as DSPs and microcontrollers, without the need for an audio codec in the system. All microphones in an array, sample their acoustic signals synchronously, enabling precise array processing.

notWired.co introduces the NW-AUD-ICS52000, a 1×4 breakout board for the InvenSense ICS-52000 MEMS microphone with TDM output. Using connectors on either side of the 0.8” wide by 3.950” height breakout board, the microphones can be connected allowing the user to tile up to 4 boards together to create a linear array of 16 evenly spaced microphones. Component Distributors is excited to announce the Fanstel BT832X. The BT832X is a powerful, highly flexible, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module using the Nordic nRF52832 SoC and the Skyworks SKY66112-11, an RF Front-End-Module (PA/LNA).

Bluetooth 5 specifications allow reducing bandwidth to achieve up to 4X range while maintaining similar power requirements. Line of sight range between two BT832Xs is measured at 1250 meters for 1Mbps data rate.
